I typically enjoy knitting or fist fighting, depends on my mood.

Usually reading in my listening chair, but sometimes just sitting and listening. I don't listen in the dark, even when I am just listening.

Study after study proves the human mind capable of one thing at a time. If you are listening to music, you are listening to music. If you even start to think you're doing anything else, believe me, you are.

The glaring fault being of course the total absence of knitting.

I concentrate on the music, letting it fill my soul. From time to time, when I find myself feeling those personal musical impulses, I pick up one of my harmonicas and try to figure out some of Charlie McCoy’s licks. Near impossible of course, but I try.
