B&W 804D2 vs 702S2

Hello!! I had a 704 S2, then the big decision came last year between 702 S2 or used 804 D3. I read lots of discussions and reviews, then finally ended up with 702. Thats a choice that i am very happy with, what really convinced me is this review saying the 702 is the same as the 804 sonically and everything else, the only difference is that the 804 stretch a slight further in most level, and its a nicer cabinet, but the difference is to tiny to justify the big $$ gap, 10K vs 5K, maybe you can find a used one around $6500 but then u can find a good used 702 around 4K.

804 was out 4-5years before 702, therefore the 702 benefits with newer tech and updates, i would be more comfortable buying a used 702 than a 804. I would recommend the 702, then jump on the 803 for another level later.

I listened to both a year ago fairly extensively. I think the 702 sounds good for its price and is worth the money. 
I think the 804 is way overpriced for what you get. 
Depends what price you can get the 804s at but in general imo the 702 a much better bang for buck
