Has anyone used Bryston BDA-3.14 in a setup where the unit is connected
directly to the amplification and its digital volume control is used, have you
noticed significant loss of resolution?
I am using my BDA 3.14 with a Pass preamp, with no apparent loss of resolution. But when the volume on the BDA is less than 100%, it does not sound nearly as good as when it is at 100%, even when I compensate with the preamp volume.
