How to improve XM Radio audio quality?

I'm with Joeylawn, but I run my Polk through my HHb CD Burn-it Plus and then through a dAck! It will NEVER be CD quality. Just remember, IT'S ALL ABOUT PROGRAMMING.

Travis - so true. But sometimes XM radio needs a tall, cool glass of Shut the **** Up - some channels have too much yakking....

If you are looking for improved quality, and don't necessarily need XM, Sirius is provided over DSS and is considerably better in quality. I'm not sure if the reciever is better in the DSS boxes, or if the satellite can recieve the signal better. Just a thought. Personally, I'm sticking with XM myself.

With all the modded products I'd like to see qhat can be done with these--.

If money is not an issue, get a high quality DAC such as McIntosh MDA1000. Although very expensive (around $8000), I've heard people swear that this makes any digital component sound like DVD-A.
