Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Bkeske, I would also like to see a well recorded "Rock of ages". The music on that album(s) is steller.

Which is why it is disappointing, as The Band were really playing well and with a ton of energy. Back in the 70’s, with a lesser system, I really didn’t notice it as much, but when I recently unearthed my vinyl and played it on my current system, there are times it is ‘cringe worthy’. And only has to do do with the recording technique and engineering.

Same experience here. I bought the cd after the album thinking they may have improved the SQ. No such luck.
