The upcoming all new Borresen Z1’s will cost $11k and the Z2’s cost $18K and the Z3’s cost $25K here in the USA.

I heard these speakers at RMAF last year.  What got me in the room was the sight of speakers that small in a very large room.  I thought the sound was excellent at first but it began to wear on me after a while.  Apart from the fact that I'll never be able to afford them I don't think this sound is what I'd want to live with long-term.

The other way to look at this is to think about what else you could get for 40K, be they large or small.

Perhaps this is all a marketing ploy to soften up the market, so that punters then think that the Z series is a true bargain in five figures (but only teens).
