LUMIN D2 no sound?

Just purchased LuminD2 . Have dedicated LAN 
line in. Turns on picks up Tidal .  I have a McIntosh C2500 preamp connected to LUMIN via Balanced XLR cables. I have hooked to Balanced 2 imputes on McIntosh preamp. Was on phone with McIntosh support. Assigned Aux to Balanced 2 but no sound output. Tested Balanced 1 and 2 output and changed cables to test. All good so must be setting in Lumin2 . Volume says %100 on LUMIN. Tried Spotify as well but same result. Can anyone walk me thru settings on LUMIN app that work for them? Any other ideas? Thank you.

My 2500 has an auto mute. Make sure it is set correctly. I turned mine off, but it still ramps up slowly on the Mac, after warm up. What does the volume say on the Mac? It doesn't have to say MUTE to be muted.
But the little light will be on if I remember.

Just a thought..

As suggested above make sure you have the Lumin set for analog outs and not spif, or usb.

Have you gone to the Lumin site and gone step by step with their app tutorial? That's what I did.
