The Tidals are yet another variation of the done-and-redone Accuton drivers, still with MDF - indeed a feat for them to be compared with the Q3.

I take that as a compliment to the Tidals! I also think that the Tidal might work better than the Q3 in small rooms (particularly when considering the variogain room tuning feature) but for ultimate performance the Q3 is world class at its price point.

I guess that would be the first time I have indirectly paid compliments to MDF :-)

And a few days I have at home the Maestro Focal Utopia play .......
