What's up with TMR Audio?

Hello Forum,

Last Saturday I purchased several Naim components from TMR Audio.  My credit card was charged and since then there has been no follow up email or shipping info.  I called TMR Monday and Tuesday multiple times only to get "we're closed" recording (I called durning their operating hours).

This is disconcerting to say the least.  Typically when this happens a company has gone out of business (stops communicating with customers, does not answer phone).  Has anyone else had issues with TMR Audio in the last few days?  I've sent multiple emails and they have gone unanswered.

I'm going to have to contact my credit card company and see if I can get the charges reversed.  This has been a very disappointing experience... I was eager to receive my new Naim components.

Well, I've never bought a thing from TMR, but have visited their site many times. After seeing two threads by people who came here to complain, only to find out they were in fact off-target in their accusations, I've become a fan of TMR based on the overwhelming positive support this audiogon communitiy has for the business.

I finally broke down and bought something from TMR. The rating of the item was 9/10, which turned out to be the correct rating. They were easy to deal with, even on a holiday weekend. I would do business with them anytime.
TMR has been a welcome addition to the hi-fi world. I have purchased from them, traded with them, and had many phone and email "conversations" with them; they are not the most organized but they are hard-working and honest. You can trust them.
i am not totally sure what their business model is and how well they are doing, but in my two smallish dealings with them they have been exemplary in service and communication
