Guys-

I just scored a sweet pair of CS 2.4SE loudspeakers. Anyone else currently or previously owned this model?
Owners of the CS 2.4 or CS 2.7 are free to chime in as well. Thiel are excellent w/ both tubed or solid-state gear!

In case anyone is interested, TMR just listed a maple pair of CS 2.4 speakers with outriggers for $1849 + $249 for shipping in the continental US.  Condition is listed as 8 out of 10.  Serial#  2727, 2728.

in your hot rod garage and studio, which sources (CD, Downloads, Vinyl) are you using to test the speakers?  I recall you bought a Sony ES SCD-1 reference player at one point.
