HDMI to Analog Decoder/Converter?

My latest Xfinity cable box only has an HDMI output, which makes sending an analog signal to my whole-house 2-ch amp a challenge (need an analog signal to the CBL/SAT input for it to work). I used to be able to decode a digital signal from the toslink output on previous boxes. Anyone have luck with HDMI-to-analog decoders/converters to do the same thing? I see lots of options on Amazon but hoping for actual experience. Thanks!
