Is there anyone who knows how to change the MID crossover of the B&W Matrix 800 when use it with the Krell KBX? There must be an instruction manual from Dan D'Agostino ( Dan's white paper ).
Thanks in advance!

Krell KBX crossover.
Seems to be 2 way stereo or 3 way mono. Lovely build if it were 24db slope I could give the resistors to change, unfortunately looking/reading this it’s only 12db slope https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/analog-line-level/332312-krell-kbx-crossover-info.html Cheers George |
Thanks, Please read the discussion at the link below. I've tried to contact drrdiamond, but haven't heard anything yet. I really hope that there is someone who can help me. https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/actively-bi-amping-b-w-matrix-800-s?highlight=krell%2Bkbx%2B Thanks in advance! Marc |
Be careful when buying electronic crossovers. Many speakers require some sort of wave shaping circuitry in their crossovers. Some specific electronic crossovers are designed specifically for a certain speaker and include the wave shaping circuitry. If you are going to buy an electronic crossover, contact the speaker manufacturer and ask them if that crossover will work correctly with your speaker. enjoy |
