Joe Henderson - The State of Tenor Vol 1 - Blue Note Tone Poet series - exceptional, the upright bass on this album is outstanding!

This is a pretty unique band. Not everyone's cup of tea but if you can stream them, you may want to check them out. Kind of an electric folk jam band (they may possibly be stoned... all the time :-)
