@slaw - I love "Brother Where You Bound". I've owned it for years, love the performance and the sound quality. It's my favorite Supertramp album, by a good margin. However, I played the 12" 45rpm direct-to-disk of "Cannonball" immediately before playing the full album. After playing the 45 DtD, the album actually sounded flat and slow. I don't really think that is a knock on the album. I think it is praise for the 12" 45 rpm DtD single.
