My Lp collection is pre-1979. How does the newer stuff compare? Does it sound like a CD?

Quieter, more dynamic. I have compared them to my 30 year old records (kept mint) and also brought some replacement ones still sealed after 30 years and compared them to new 180 pressings and I have always found the new vinyl better.
