VAC Signature MKiia SE vs standard MKiia

Thought I would "bump" on this.  Always helpful to hear experiential thoughts from the court of public opinion!  

Any updated thoughts ?
I spoke with Kevin and he felt the renaissance mkV actually sounds better than the non-se signature. But its tempting to get the non se used for a huge discount over msrp of the SE.

I found the SE improvements intrinsically more resolving than those offered in the standard MKIIa.  Break-in took approx. 200hrs, but improvements were obvious straight away.  IMHO, the SE upgrade investment is well worth it.  I cannot personally speak to any comparison with the renaissance mkV, though find Kevin's thoughts very interesting.
