Best Sounding USB Cables?

Due to a system upgrade, I need to go to a longer USB cable than the 0.7m Phasure Lush^2 that I'm using. Before I order another longer Lush, are there any other USB cables $500 or less I should consider?

You don't need to spend tons of money on USB cables for audio. The digital signal doesn't know whether or not it's been fed through a cheap cable or an expensive one. Ideas about "lowest possible inductance, capacitance, or impedance" are simply nonsense.

Want a perfect USB cable? So long as the power and data lines are properly segregated in the construction of the cable. That's it!

All you need is....

TRIPP LITE Usb 2.0 Hi-Speed a/B Cable With Ferrite Chokes (M/M) 3-Ft.

These two products together will ensure a clean signal.

Within a cable there is no such thing as a "digital signal."  There is only an analog signal attempting to be a sequence of perfect square waves. So everything matters.

Like so many others here, I have heard considerable differences among USB cables though I do not use the the power line at all.

The USB cable and USB dongle I have used/recommended would get rid of noise in the square wave. You will never have perfect accuracy until you fit a DAC with a master clock anyway.

To gain some insight, read this: https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/is-usb-a-digital-signal.827488/

USB standards were established to be compatible with all devices that use a USB connection. Otherwise, USB 2.0 would never work for audio.
I’m interested in this question too the OP has posted. I’ve read the Lush is very nice too and I’m debating between the Audioquest Carbon and Shunyata Venom. I’ve heard great things about both, and have read a couple reviews that the Venom is even comparable to the AQ Diamond which is two steps up from the Carbon.
I have found that solid core cable is best for USB. As for solid core copper, or silver plated solid copper or solid silver, these are different flavors. Which tastes best will depend upon what electronics is at either end.

You don't have to spend enormous amounts of cash as very good solid core cables can be found at very reasonable prices.
