I would be very careful. Old one have burr-brown digital filter and master clock. To update to their new proprietary digital filter and improved master clock costs $1,395. I almost fell into this trap so I puchased a new one from dealer. Call MSB and make sure what you're getting from seller.

I had seen reviews claiming this CD Player to out perform the best...so I was confused (but delighted) to see a listing on Ebay for the MSB Platinum III for $3,500! I can only conclude that there is a newer model pending? The retail of the Platinum III CD is $11,000 - is this just a deal or what?
