Interesting Joel. Good luck with your evaluation. But I’m with you, I also prefer nice slam and punch. It is interesting that the Hagerman tube pre offered more of that (but then, that was vs the Mani, so let’s get real 😁 )….but ultimately still running through the Belles 400A. As they say, it all gots to work together with a synergy you prefer.
