I am using a $1500 D-Sonic M3a 800s Class D amp to drive a very hard to drive Thiel CS3.7. It is not as crystal clear as my Benchmark AHB2 ($3000) but it is much better suited power wise for the hard to drive CS3.7. It is also a little warmer than the AHB2.
I was only planning to use this amp as a short term amp until I bought a more expensive amp ($6K - $16K range). However, I will keep my money in my pocket for a bit longer because this amp is growing on me.
