I hope that @tomic601 is scoring well with his fishing.  After recovering from such a terrible cycling accident he certainly deserves it.  Go get 'em Jim!

I'll begin fishing in late July through end of September.  Hopefully the bluefin tuna will be very good this year.

And yeah, me too, I don't understand going from phono stage directly to powered subwoofer.  Does that mean you then connect an output from the subwoofer to your main amp?  I have never heard of such connectivity.  If so, then how do you control the volume level?
My subs allow for all the connectivity that are if concern

The REL subs are renowned for their speaker level connectivity. They even have upgrade cables just for this application.
