seal the second box via a high powered glue gun (for the flow rate).

this stabilizes/stiffens the whole thing into being nearly impregnable to ripping open due to any stressing and also helps enormously in preventing puncture.

I’ve even shipped dynaco A-50’s this way and also shipped many others.

If you do that, can you remove tge outer layer without damaging the original box?

Original packaging is designed to protect the speakers in transit potentially all over the world.
Unless the manufacturer is an idiot, it will do the job perfectly.
