Need your help on SPEAKER CABLE...

Thank you all for sharing your thoughts with me. Meanwhile, I've been reading some reviews on these Ultraconductors (both ic and sc) from JPS Labs. And, actually, some reviewers feel these are quite smooth and warm while others say these are more on the cold and analytical side. What is your opinion?

Are you opposed to DIY? I did a set of 10g wires made up of 4 twisted pairs of 16g in a counter rotating geometry and terminated them with KLE banana plugs and cardas silver solder. Cost was about 200 I believe, and they are fantastic. Another option I've seen really amazing reviews on is GR-Research 24 strand braided speaker cables. Supposedly super revealing and smooth which makes me very curious and brings about that diy project itch again. But in all honesty, if you can do any half-decent soldering and have a few hours on your hands, you can get some fantastic product for a small fraction of purchasing a finished product from a name brand company.
