For me its the first or very early LP's of: Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South" Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer" and, Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
Planned obsolescence…? Spontaneous combustion…? Your mom threw them out when you were away at summer camp…?
Naw….I think it happened after a live-in break-up. Lost my Television, Marquis Moon LP at the same time too I think. But, I also ended up with a few of hers, which I still have.
Oh well. Just need to seek out some good copies, or get the box set of all the earlier stuff.
This record is total ear candy. I would also like to say that this Oregon grown Pinot Gris is the perfect compliment to this here moderately buttery Coho and an anodyne against this blistering heat. Also, sauté the spinach in half butter, half olive oil with a few capers and a little garlic. Yes indeed and put the whole carton in.
Steve, get 13 Rivers. The more I listen to this double LP, the more I like it. I think It’s turning into my favorite Richard release. Very nicely recorded and engineered too.
