For those interested, I just today received a message from MoFi on the release of Jeff Beck, "Truth" on a 45rpm 2 disc set, limited edition to 4,000 copies, made from the original analogue tapes.  My original copy is in very respectable condition but sonically it isn't what this will be.  I go to order it and it states "sold out".  So, I contact Music Direct (who also owns MoFi) and the nice person tells me that the album has not yet shipped but they are taking orders.  He said they have received a lot of order but does not know if their allocation (when they do receive it) is yet considered as sold out.  He also explained that just the same as the other vinyl sellers of MoFi are allocated, so is Music Direct.  At this point I don't see other resellers listing it as a preorder.  Anyway, Truth is an absolute classic of the Classic Rock album era, as you all likely know.  Should you wish to get in line for this one I strongly urge that you place your order quickly.  Remember, only 4,000 copies will be made.
I hope this helps those of you who are interested in this release.
Yes Jim, Vinyl Archeologists we are...😂

Note: An eBay seller must have grabbed the picture image from the MoFi site and has it posted for sale at $499.  Literally, 10 times the selling price of retail.  The guy at Music Direct told me that zero copies have yet to ship.  It's a crying shame that people ruin the market with such greed.
ah yes somebody selling something you don’t yet have….i got my Two Against Nature LP from a Discogs vendor named “ Giant Leech “…. for 2X RSD in store price…. above that, i don’t wanna play and ( for me ) having that particular disc bordered on obsession…
since i spend time in recording studios, mastering, mobile recording….and i work with a great mentor and engineer…i am acutely aware of intentional distortion and downstream effects….great care need be taken in the SS ( if any ) parts of the chain…. Our belief is upper harmonics and IM, TIM are at work mucking things up…..
I will listen to album you guys are citing and see, but its likely not the microphone itself, that overdrive and breakup is not clean, the mic amp likely…..fun…
i was lucky, never had a Vinyl destroyer in family…Dad had Dual w Shure Type II, my first system at 17 was $75 ( gulp Grado Black ), Denon DP-790 W table, Onkyo A-5 Integrated ( Class A to 5 w )…and Infinity Qb…it was completely bad A…

Lucky bastard, I know…
