Extraordinary talent live as well. Saw her outdoors at Lincoln Center as opening act for a free David Crosby concert 2 summers ago. The crowd wasn't listening at first, the usual chatter during an outdoor opening act. After about 15 minutes, the audience was quiet and just listening.  By the end, she got a roaring standing ovation from the Crosby crowd. Dan produced her first album as well as the new one. A Jennifer Hudson voice singing folk inflected country. Unique.
