Interesting Steve.

I saw an interesting idea here, which seems to catching some traction: purchased an inexpensive rechargeable gel lighter. It gives out ions, similar to the Zerostat. You ‘light’ it just about 1/4-1/2” above the album while rotating, 3-4 passes, and it removes static.

Seems to work. And much easier and quicker than the Zerostat.

Playing with it, but as I said, does seem to be effective.
I saw that comment on the gel lighter on a thread here on Agon.  Very interesting.  Please do provide some further report on your findings after additional use.  Thanks Brian.

All the talk about Harrison ATMP, I pulled out my original box set which I purchased around 1973, possibly earlier.  It's in perfect condition.  I haven't played it in decades.  A run through the US machine first and I'll play it sometime soon.  I just love the ideas I get from this thread!
