Pretenders  S/T   Nautilus Superdisc Half-Speed Master recording.  Excellent album of excellent music.  I got the idea to play this album from this thread, yesterday.  What a wonderful thread, the best on the forum.

George Harrison  "All Things Must Pass"  I have had this since it was first released.  It's in perfect condition.  Played only a few times, the box and all of the records and sleeves look like new.  The music is wonderful but it's a crying shame that the SQ is terrible.  Do any of you have an original copy (like I do) and find that the SQ is terrible, or is yours sounding good?  Now I remember why it has so little play, it's because the SQ is that bad.  "Isn't it a Pity"

I have the original Joel, but mine isn’t anywhere near mint, as I played it so much ‘back in the day’. But, even though I played it a lot, yes, even on lesser equipment, I was always disappointed in the SQ. You can blame some of that on Spector but, IMO, it seems even more than that. It is a pity.
