I think in his convalescence Jim has maybe become a little confused.  He actually leant that record to me… 
So, the new Pat Metheny is both different and really good.  Even if you’re not a huge fan, think about checking out the cut “Lodger” on your favorite stream.  It rocks. 

I waz roomate for a time who was in a band they covered several Echo tunes…next time i am in Florida, i will hijack that LP

I am streaming the Layla revisit..
