I haven't a clue on why the threads are deleted but I don't think you need to worry about the company, they are making plenty on their cables. But, I'd worry about the backhoe you will need for your wallet when you buy their stuff! On the other hand, they do have a 60% off sale which reduces their stuff to "simply expensive".
I am always suspicious of audio companies with a new technology that don't describe how it works, refer to a new patent, or refer to a peer reviewed paper on the subject. They might be onto to something new and exciting but I am not willing to drive a backhoe into my wallet to find out.
