We spend too much time talking about tweeters

I do it too. I'm guilty.

Just saying.  85% of the sound out of a speaker if not 95% is not in the tweeter, but the marketing people have us talking more about them than anything else.

Funny they must make more different types of tweeters than any other type of speakers...
A great tweeter doesn't ensure a great speaker, but then again a bad tweeter will ruin any speaker.

Yep must be 1k tweets out there in speaker universe.

To my ears a  tweeter = tweeter.
I only consider tweets at a true 91/92 db sens.
90 is too low.
Only use a  tweet for emblishments for my dual WBer setup., 9khz .
wide bands
40ish hz - 12k+ hz.
beats any tweeter

Running a  3 inch paper tweeter, love it at 92db sens. Gonna swap for a  92db Beryllium NeoDymium magnet sometime early  next year. Scan clone.
can't say which will win out....

It was very noticeable when one tweeter wasn’t working but when listening to a working one without the other drive units connected it doesn’t sound like its doing much to my 60 year old ears.
