Why the hate for mcintosh amps?

Why dont people,like mcintosh? Who motivates this?

Appealing optics trump merits of equip. Arc fails big time due to tube maintenance issues. It has a congested sound due to overpowered internals. Mac much better with longer tube life by far. Arc loved more than mac?
