Pretty cool you were able to pick up your old friends album Brian

Yes it is. Been on my radar for a while. In fact, just picked up another more recent solo LP by Mark today.

I figured you would know about American Music Club Tim. Really, there was so much of Mark in those LP’s (actually in all his bands), his solo efforts are very similar, just toned down a bit. But his lyrical masterwork is all there. Something I remember Rolling Stone magazine heaping high praise on him at the time of AMC’s first release.

You should check him/them out if you are unfamiliar, I think you would like it. Same for many here.

Nothing’s on my turntable due to some ham fisted moron sending the tonearm flying across the LP and ripping the Diamond off the cantilever. But the culprit will pay for the damage. Just a warning to all A’goners to never let the member here with the nonsensical handle “Emailists” spin vinyl at your house. He’s a bad seed and can’t be trusted with anything nice.

War Dept LP collection curated by parents were all NG-, so ya did did good Joel

Brian,

I am not familiar with them but just did a little research. What a catalog of albums they have! Think I'll give "Everclear" a try. Thanks
