Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Steve, no not a "test pressing" as you figured out.  But certainly one of the early pressings off of the master as this is the first group of discs available, before pressings available to dealers after April 13, 1983.

Note; that was at my very first CES.  In total I attended 43 CES.  Unfortunately, they were nearly always all work and little time to roam the show.  Only those in Chicago (back then there were 2 CES per year, Las Vegas for Winter and Chicago for Summer) was I able to roam the show because very few of my dealers attended the Chicago show.  CES soon became just one show per year, Winter show at Las Vegas.  At the Las Vegas show I was swamped, typically with 2 business meetings simultaneously, bouncing between tables, from morning to end of day.  It's nice to be retired now😊  I've been building my present system since leaving the workforce.

Warren Zevon - Excitable Boy

Beatles - Let It Be … Naked (wanted to listen as I have been watching the Get Back special on Disney +)

Joel - My first CES included the Drake…fond memories…. I bet you were busy !
