Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

David Lee Roth - "Skyscraper"

Listening to a small stack of records that was gifted to me by a buddy who knows I listen to vinyl. Most of them were completely trashed and unlistenable. However, a very few are in decent condition. So, this DLR album is the first one I pulled out of the "OK" pile. Cleaned it, put it on the TT, and it's much better than I expected. Frankly, was expecting it to be a train wreck. But it's not. It's a rocker, with Steve Vai featured on guitar.

Genesis - "Nursery Cryme"

From the gifted stack. Not in perfect condition, but listenable. I believe this may be the first time I've ever heard this record. Wasn't sure what to expect. It's definitely British Prog. Not bad. If you like that sort of thing...

Lots of new arrivals today, one new album, and a nice ‘music care package’ of older classical selections from Jim, which was a surprise and much appreciated.

First up, the new…
