For me, it's important to respect this thread's rai·son d'ê·tre. There's a 'sacred' aspect to vinyl and vinyl based systems which I admire. I do not want to get in the way.

hmm, I think you should just get a record machine and a cool phono stage with tubes in it (fancy wire totally optional).  Play cosmic music with us til the cows come home.
