One of my best friends is on this. |
😄 Thanks Jim! Now here is something interesting. I had to move my Hagerman Trumpet phono pre up next to my SOTA, (yea, I know Jim, close to the TT motor, but doesn’t seem to have an impact), as the Belles takes up a lot more real estate on the lower shelf. Anyway, during the winter, I battle static electricity/lack of humidity. It’s 15% right now, even with a humidifier working. Thus I’ve always had a zap touching the tone arm unless I grounded myself first. Well, Lo and behold, I am no longer transmitting static at the tonearm/turntable. Odd and interesting that is seems to have disappeared, even at these low humidity levels. 🤔 Change in equipment location? Doesn’t seem like that would/should have an effect. Oh, and can’t wait to hear how this Belles pre sounds after the recommended 250 hours burn/break-in, because it is amazing me as a virgin. |
