Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Took the latest pile of culls to Plaid Room Records today to sell/trade. I had a bottom line price in mind - $130. Was shocked when the offer came back - $315 cash or $375 trade. Holy cow, record price inflation is real!. Anyway, I took $226 cash and the rest in credit for the following:

Daniel Lanois - "Heavy Sun" new

Robbie Robertson - "Sinematic" new

Morphine - "Cure for Pain" new

Elton John - "Rock of the Westies" used (sentimental value)

Joni Mitchell - "Dog Eat Dog" used (sentimental value)

Was happy as a clam! On the TT now:

Daniel Lanois - "Heavy Sun"

Tom….wow, that’s just wonderful…..i got to get more serious culling…will get to it…eventually….

Love that "Morphine" album Tom. It's one of their best IMO

Ditto that Jim for the "Jesse Sykes" album. Great choice
