Vienna Acoustics speakers help

Please help!
I’ve recently purchased a pair of VA Beethoven Concert Grand Reference without testing/audition (stupid me) and the seller is ghosted on me. Brought home, hooked everything up. I hear no sound coming out from tweeters and midranges on both speakers but only sound coming out from woofers. I’ve tested with 3 different amps (DNA225, CJ2250A, and Parasound2250) and also changed out different cables too. Is the drivers or crossovers bad? Is fixable? Or maybe I didn’t connected it right? Any advices or inputs would be greatly appreciated.

I really doubt those speakers have internal fuses. Check drivers individually but be careful. Use an ohmmeter to check resistance first before checking audibly. They are not bi-wired, no jumpers.

After multimeter test, I got no ohm reading. I think both speakers midrange drivers and tweeters are toasted. Thanks for everyone help.

Hope you can work it out with the seller, though it sounds like they have skipped town.  If you end up trying to repair these, keep an eye on eBay.  I see random NOS parts (drivers, crossovers, brackets, etc.) listed frequently.  Also it appears that VA shared some components between the Bach, Mozart, Waltz, Beethoven, and possibly other models from that era (Theatro, Maestro, maybe even Haydn?)  So you might find some suitable parts donor speakers for cheap.  But they did have small changes throughout the years as they went from the original designs to the "Concert Grand" and "SE"/"Symphony Edition" so you'll have to verify compatibility somehow.

There are also licensed distributors that can obtain repair parts from Vienna.  I went through Bluebird to get some VA parts a few years ago.

Sorry to say, Can you find values for the xover? even replacing drivers might result in disaster. If the seller doesn't make good please post everything you can about him/her.
