Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Back to music. My cherished vintage Belles 400A amp ‘blew-up’ (well, more like a pop, flash, along with a burning smell) on me last week, so had to get an emergency amp in until something more permanent is chosen.

Chausson - Trio Pour Piano, Violon Et Violoncelle, Op. 3 / Pièce Pour Violoncelle Et Piano, Op. 39. Jean-Claude Pennetier, piano / Régis Pasquier, violin / Roland Pidoux, cello. Harmonia Mundi 1984 French release

@slaw

I will Steve. I just received a B&K ST3030 200 wpc mosfet amp for a pretty good deal. It actually sounds pretty darn good. Better than the 400A in some respects. The B&K’s are real ‘sleepers’ IMO. Had a 125.2 before, so figured it would be acceptable, or more so. No matter what, the ST3030 will be a back-up in the future.

Brian, bummer news but glad your speakers are okay. About your old amp I mean. 😎

A most tasteful selection sir.
