Hey @reubent ,

Send that warped lp to me and I'll flatten it for you. You pay shipping both ways.

Gregory Alan Isakov w/The Colorado Symphony

Put it through a deep clean. So much more enjoyable now.

Mott the Hoople "S/T"

1970/Atlantic/pp

This lp jacket has cool art work and photos.....

Hey Steve, please provide a quick review of the Patricia Barber album, "Higher".  Musical quality as well as sonic quality.  Impex typically does a fabulous job at producing a quality product, of course, but I am interested in the musical quality as well.

Thanks much.

Hey Joel,

I too have always had nothing but praise for the Impex stuff I own. That's why I was surprised by the amount of surface noise present. It sounds like teenie micro scratches. Mind you it's no way in your face but for a $50 lp, I expect more. Also, there's some low level ground noise for the first half of side one. I can overlook it if taking it out would've negatively impacted sonics.

Performance wise, it's great! I've had an interruption in my buying her stuff since Cole Porter, I think?? She is definitely taking chance and exploring new territory. I love her so it's easy for me to recommend the music.

I'm going try another copy. All of the three lps I received yesterday from ED had issues with the vinyl. That's the breaks I guess?
