Exotic vocal

Excellent song and Ofra's voice sounds beautiful. I don't much like her singing in English, but that's how record companies make money.

There is an album on the Ecm label from a jazz pianist named Tord Gustavsen that is european jazz (instrumental) that is very relaxing featuring a middle eastern vocalist named Simin Tander who has a very ethereal voice which is just gorgeous. She sings some of the songs in a middle eastern language called Pashto and some are sung in englis but all are absolutely beautiful. The Ecm cd's or lp's aer always so beautifully recorded as well.   Some of the songs are sung in this beautifully recorded The name of the album is "what was aid" and here is a link (if they will allow it
