I think the only commonality between the two is the word ugly. That aside the Concept 50 has heredity. The Tekton line…jam it in the garage with old 901’s and the like.

It ain’t the prettiest speaker I’ve ever seen, but I’d sure like to hear them someday.

 

I think speakers for me are the most personal choice in audio. I'm convinced for my self that the d'apolito arrangement is best time and phase aligned. Dunlavy is my choice. I just don't feel the need to look for another speaker. But that is just my personal choice and only Duntech makes anything available to buy new.
