Best Examples Of Cymbal Decays On A Recording

Pleas provide an example of any recording with an outstanding cymbal decay.

...or, any recording that gives an excellent example that showcases a decay of a particular sound...whether a vocal or anything else.

Thank you.

There are CD's of gongs and other percussion instruments used for meditation that might be what you are looking for.  There is a gong struck at the beginning of the song "Birds of Fire" by the Mahavishnu Orchestra but I can't vouch for the length of the decay..

Lincoln Mayorga The Missing Link, a direct cut LP form the ‘70s or ‘80s. In particular the most stringent recording of a triangle you have ever heard

John Hiatt’s Slow Turning has the original version of “Feels Like Rain” which has some amazing cymbal attack, sustain & decay that I adore. Even as the last inside track on vinyl side two, most pressings I’ve heard have the magic 👍

John Bonham's drum work on Moby Dick (Led Zeppelin II). Ginger Baker's drum work on Toad (Cream - Wheel's of Fire).
