I would assume this SUT was designed for the contemporary MC-L10 cartridge, which had a 30 ohm source impedance and 0.25 mV output. Generally speaking 20dB gain is on the low side for this output level, but the Victor direct couple systems were subjectively more powerful than their output level specs suggested. How this SUT will work out with other high impedance cartridges is different to predict, could be ‘hit or miss’.

I just told you, so any cartridge with that kind of output levl.
Take a look to different manufacturers models as: Ortofon, VDH, ZYX, Koetsu, Audio Technica, Lyra and many more. I told you too that if your phono stage has low noise level you can try carrtridges down to 0.25mv.
