Has Anyone heard The Boulder 1021 CD player?

Recently saw pictures of this unit and read a brief description on their website. Looks impressive, but how does it sound. This is new territory for Boulder. I hear it was somewhere at CES.
Thanks,

Well, everyone here places a different value on things, including the differences (improvements) between cdp, pres, speakers, cables, etc. To many of us, the differences between a $2000 and a $24000 are not significant enough to warrant the extra expense. However, to others it is. To each their own.

That being said, it would be interesting to read feedback. I personally would love to compare to my current digital setup which I think is very good for my ears, budget, and purposes.
Surprising there are no comments as yet. Apparently It works by prereading the disc and inputting the information into a computer, then playing the bits. I don't know how similar this is to the memory player.
That also sounds similar to how a computer does it to, at least as a transport.
Little feedback on this unit so far. Surprised no one has heard it. Seems like a novel approach to CD playback.
i was at ces and heard it in the boulder room.

it's a cd player, nothing special. i won't comment on its value and since it was part of an all boulder system, one really needs to audition it in one's own system.

i'll go out on a limb and suggest at that price, consider the amr, instead.
