Recapping Mark Levinson 33H monoblocks

it's variable and unpredictable, sometimes hard to notice slow degradation in sound quality...just don't assume if the caps or other parts go bad, that they will go gently...

The cost of recapping for my ML27.5 is $2500. After finding out, I quickly sold that amp.

Skip the huge (and many) power caps and replace the few electrolytics the amps have, there are only a few, everything else is film as you’d expect. You would get your sound quality boost for a few bucks, main filter/power caps won’t do much for you on sound improvement on these amps and in this scenario IMO.

I recapped my 33H’s last year…wasn’t really that expensive and I used George Meyer Audio in LA who can get pricey (but they really know ML gear). The amps sound fantastic. Feel free to DM me if interested to discuss.
