Jeff Beck - passes away

We have roughly 8 billion people on our planet.   Read that an estimated 250k die from bacterial meningitis a year.   What are the odds of some being this gifted musically and then factor the odds again from being taken by this disease.   Hard to comprehend such things.

I saw him here in Phoenix a few years ago with Todd Rundgren, and Johnny Depp joined him on stage for a couple of songs. I saw him three times in all, once when he was with BBA, and he was always a solid performer. I think that he had a long and interesting life. That's something to celebrate even though he'll be missed.

Very sad, for his family, his friends, and his followers and listeners. RIP Jeff, you will be remembered, always.

A lot of talent just left us.

My wife (GF at the time) and I saw him twice, once with George Harrison and one other time but can’t remember when.  Before David Gilmour was hired to replace Syd Barrett in Pink Floyd, the group floated the idea of asking Jeff Beck to join them.  He will truly be missed, RIP.
