Has anyone tried this unit solely as a Desktop DAC to powered monitors?
If so, I would like to hear your impressions.
It also has a set of analog RCA inputs which I plug my Bluesound node into and it makes that sound better too.

I'm assuming you're using the Pre-outs to your powered monitors?
Yes, I use preouts to powered momitors and the remote to control the volume
