Denafrips FPGA Firmware Update

If it is bricked…you will have to send it down to Todd in Texas (if you are in The U.S.A.). I have dealt with him…he is super professional, with fast turnaround….but you may want to wait and see if there is a second firmware release before doing that. I think right now, that Alvin is overwhelmed (and possibly Todd), but he will get back to you. Definitely. Vinshine is a good group of people! We are all going to need a bit of patience, right now.

Vinshine is amazing. Just spoke with them and they are resolving this issue handily. I continue to be impressed by the company

The (EP4CE6F) chip is what is in my Pontus II I purchased from Vinshine in late February, 2023.

There is more detail to my music, however it has lost a 'smidge' of it's warmth/sweetness. I'll continue to listen for another week or 2-3 weeks for a return to what was.

I have 3 streamers, Auralic Aries Femto, Ifi Zen Streamer, and Lumin U2 mini. The Auralic has been with me the longest time. Ifi Zen is just for curiosity. And at last, the Lumin is serious and mature. It is more analog sounding, relax and musical. It will take the full advantages of the firmware update.
